Why the name change?
The new name reflects a change in the governing principles of my company. For 10 years as MagicBrain Computing I’ve been offering the Cape May County area insightful and knowledgeable solutions to their technology needs. During this time I’ve tried to grow my company in several ways. I opened a brick and mortar storefront, selling computers and computer accessories. I also tried hiring several technicians so that I could more quickly respond to the needs of my clients.
Recently, I decided to downsize my business. I reduced my staff and moved from the storefront to a private office. I have found the change dramatic and enlightening in many ways, all of them good. My new philosophy is this: stay small, keep it simple, and don’t overreach your grasp. You could call it my New Years resolution, since it is the season for such things. Also, I am shifting my focus towards the work that I most enjoy, which is web design (all design, but especially hotel and motel website design) and custom programming.
How will the change affect my clients?
Current clients: It is my goal to keep the changes to my business as transparent as possible. I will continue to strive to give you the same honest, courteous and knowledgeable service you’ve come to expect. Some of the administrative ways I do business will change (for instance, checks will now be made payable to David Rodrigues at 2700 Pacific Avenue — please update your records). I will work to make these changes as easy to incorporate possible .
New and potential clients: I’ve found that when I do what I like most, I get the best results. In the past I would take any job that crossed my desk. This was perhaps unfair to myself and to the client. In the future, I will ascertain that my skills and interests match your business needs.
All residential clients (new and old): Those of you who have been a client of MagicBrain Computing for awhile will know Harry Lanza as part of the MagicBrain family. Harry will be the primary contact for all residential clients. Other than that, not much will change in this arena.

Important: because of a limited staff and a private office, you must call ahead before dropping off or picking up any laptops or computers. - All checks must now be made payable to David Rodrigues.
- Our number is the same: 609-729-1301. I’ve found I can’t do my job and answer the phone at the same time. That means you will most likely get the answering machine. I try to check my messages once per hour, so please leave one! Be as detailed as possible. Residential clients please call 609-570-9024.
- All clients: if you don’t receive newsletters from me in your email, you should sign up at the top-right of this page. It’s my old site page, but still relevant to the email newsletter signup. You need to do this because I use that list to send out alerts that might affect you.
